TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM
At The Roots India, our Teacher Training Program is designed to transform educators into compassionate and effective leaders in the classroom. We use a blend of innovative theatre techniques and proven methodologies to help teachers develop essential skills like empathy, communication, and adaptability. By incorporating theatre-based practices, educators learn how to connect with their students on a deeper level, fostering an environment of understanding, creativity, and active engagement.
STUDENT WORKSHOP
At The Roots India, our Theatre Workshops for Students are designed to guide participants from learning theatre techniques to performing on stage. We teach essential theatre methodologies, performance nuances, and acting skills, enabling students to understand character development and stagecraft. Through interactive exercises, improvisation, and role-play, students gain the confidence and creativity needed to bring stories to life. The workshop culminates in a play performance, where students showcase their newfound abilities in front of an audience, experiencing the thrill of theatre while developing teamwork, self-expression, and stage presence

THEATRICAL PERFORMANCES
The Children’s workshop at The Roots India follows the ‘Play-way’ style of teaching by engaging them in play-like situations to develop their imagination and creative skills. Children are taught not only to use their minds but also their bodies thereby imparting in them expressive abilities and self-confidence.
The workshop aims to train them not only for stage, but for leadership in life as well. These workshops for Acting are for Children of the age group 6 to 14 years.
